mha were appointed by the Western Health & Social Care Trust to provide an extension to Altnagelvin Hospital’s Family & Client Clinic at Gransha Park. The extension involved the creation of public consultation rooms with supporting administration office space. The new additions incorporate a rainscreen cladding facade construction, with the varying widths of vertical fibre cement panels seeking to imitate the nearby trees and woodlands. While the vibrant yellow colour creates contrast and hints at the paediatric nature of the building and it’s visitors.
