mha were commissioned in 2013 by the Western Education & Library Board to undertake the development of an existing youth centre in Carrickmore. The works were carried out over staged phases.

Phase 1 involved the upgrading of all existing first floor rooms, a computer suite, lift and fire escapes.

Phase 2 included the upgrading of the toilet facilities and main Reception Area.

Phase 3 involved the creation of a new link building to the front of the premises which provided an elevated footbridge linking the building to the principle carpark area and also provided ramped access at ground floor level to provide greater accessibility to all users.
